Vamos Ventures is an early-stage VC fund that invests in diverse teams, meaning at least one co-founder comes from an under-represented background, with a particular emphasis on Latinx founders. Their belief is that diverse teams deliver better outcomes and stronger returns. They write checks of $500K to $4M at the pre-seed, seed, and Series A stages, and they consider later rounds case by case. Companies must be based and incorporated in the US and work in one of four sectors: health and wellness, fintech, future of work, or sustainability. They look for traction, such as revenue, a customer pipeline, or a product build, along with a credible path to returning the fund.
